Plastic Coatings Ltd will close for the festive period, on Friday December 23rd at 10:00. The last date for deliveries and collections will be Friday December 20th, normal operating hours apply.
Working with Priory Park Community School
Great work being done at Priory Park Community School… Plastic Coatings Ltd are very happy to have played a small part in helping local young people remain engaged with education. Priory Park Community School is an alternative provision independent school in the Wren’s Nest area of Dudley, providing support for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties or who are at significant risk of permanent exclusion from mainstream school.
Another Successful Apprenticeship Complete!
Congratulations to Jordan Bradley on completing his Quality Practitioner level 4 Apprenticeship! Following our previous successful apprenticeship programme, Jordan joined PCL in August 2022 as an apprentice in our Quality Department. Jordan had no previous manufacturing nor Quality Engineering experience but he did have an ambition to start a career in Quality Engineering and Quality Management.
Secretary of State visits PCL
Plastic Coatings Ltd has shown Energy Secretary Claire Coutinho and West Midlands Mayor Andy Street how we are benefiting from government support in the form of the BEAS pilot scheme which we’ve used to document our Net Zero plans and also plan to take further advantage of as we move through 2024. Having access to partial funding for energy efficiency projects is great news for our sustainability.

Plastic Coatings Ltd will close at 10:00 on Friday 22nd December 2023 for the Festive Holiday. We will re-open on January 2nd 2024 at 08:00. The company exhibited its world class products and services at Subcon 2023 and The Vehicle Electrification Show held at Birmingham’s NEC, capturing the attention of industry professionals and enthusiasts alike.
Large Parts Coating Facility
Plastic Coatings Ltd have recently commissioned a new coating plant designed to handle large and heavy components. We have long held a desire to have the ability to handle larger components and support our customers when these projects arise.
Further Investment in Large Part Coating
Plastic Coatings Ltd are excited to confirm that we are investing in further new coating plant and facilities. In the last few years, we’ve seen increasing demand for the coating of large parts. We installed a dedicated large parts coating facility for traditional powder coating and high performance (PTFE etc) wet painting requirements. This facility has a work envelope of 6m x 4m x 3m and has handled some very complex projects.
Plastic Coatings Ltd becomes EOT owned
Plastic Coatings Ltd are pleased to announce that on 12th of January 2023, the company shareholding was sold to an Employee Ownership Trust. This means that Plastic Coatings Ltd joins more than 700 other organisations in the UK that have become EOT owned since EOT’s were introduced back in 2014. The exiting shareholders really felt that an EOT would be a great way to reflect the unique culture of PCL and its employees, whilst providing continued independence and business security and sustainability as PCL looks to the future.

We are open until December 23rd 10:00 for collections of finished product, we re-open on January 3rd 2023 at 08:00. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s State Funeral
Monday 19th September 2022, the date of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s State Funeral, is a national bank holiday. This bank holiday will allow individuals, businesses and organisations to pay their respects to Her Majesty and commemorate Her reign, while marking the final day of the period of national mourning. For this reason and as a mark of respect for Her Majesty The Queen, Plastic Coatings Ltd will be closed all day on Monday 19th.
