London Marathon
Congratulations to Lee Farmer! Lee is an employee of Plastic Coatings Ltd who completed the 2018 London Marathon today. We are all extremely proud of Lee for not only completing the prestigious 26.2 mile London Marathon, but, also doing it in a respectable time of 5 hours and 12 minutes. Lee was raising money for Action Heart (registered charity 518586) and we were pleased to be able to contribute to the money that Lee raised for such a worthy cause.
Vylastic Plant Investment
Plastic Coatings Ltd have been applying Vylastic PVC / Plastisol on its Kingswinford site since 1970. In that time we have reliably supported many customers and various demanding supply chains with our excellent record for service and product quality,.In order to continually provide such a reliable service and as part of our continual improvement strategy we have planned in essential refurbishment of our coating line.
IATF 16949 Transition Complete
Plastic Coatings Ltd are extremely pleased and proud to announce that we are now approved to the IATF 16949 standard having completed our transition from ISO/TS 16949 in December 2017. Our new certificate can be viewed and downloaded here. Plastic Coatings Ltd have carried the ISO/TS 16949 approval since 2010, it has long demonstrated our commitment to the best practices adopted by the automotive industry and the IATF.
Plastic Coatings Ltd featured in Working Life Exhibition
Community exhibition at Guildford Museum, Surrey Plastic Coatings Ltd will be featured in a forthcoming temporary exhibition at Guildford Museum by the Joining In! Men’s Group, Guildford. The exhibition will look at the industries and companies that the men worked for, in Guildford, during the second half of the 20th century including Plastic Coatings Ltd. The ‘Guildford at Work’ exhibition will run from 18th November 2017 to 13th January 2018 at Guildford Museum.

24hr Coating Service Wins New Contract
A major manufacturer of health care equipment that is used to make people with reduced mobility safer and more comfortable in their own homes, has selected Plastic Coatings Ltd as their preferred supplier for Powder Coating.
The decision was made based on Plastic Coatings Ltd ability to support the very tightest turnaround times possible, often products being prepared, coated, inspected and delivered back to the customer on our own HGV’s within 12 hours.

Once again Plastic Coatings Ltd will be exhibiting at the UK’s premier sub-contract service trade show. As usual the show is being held at the NEC in Birmingham, this years dates are 6th to 8th of June. Three Go Out In Yellow
Plastic Coatings Ltd were recently commissioned by Jim Unsworth to add the finishing touch to his new piece of Artwork ‘Three Go out in Yellow’. Plastic Coatings Ltd were selected for this project due to our reputation for applying high quality, high performance coatings to a wide range of products and markets.
E-coat on Aluminium
Back in August 2016, Plastic Coatings Ltd were very pleased to announce that investment in its E-Coat (Electrophoretic Paint) plant was complete. The investment improved pre-treatment capabilities and also reliability of the plant. Since then we have invested further in paint chemistry and rectifier technology. The most recent investment has improved our E-Coat on aluminium finish to match that of any E-Coat on any other substrate.
