Mission Pink

Plastic Coatings Ltd support Intergas in their ‘mission pink’

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK accounting for almost 1,000 deaths each month but, thanks to research funded by charities like Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, more and more people are surviving. Breast Cancer Now is on a mission to ensure that, by 2050, everyone who gets breast cancer will live, which means funding the most impactful research is key.

Intergas are on a mission too. On September 28th, they are planning to raise £10,000 to help fund more research for Breast Cancer Now by walking up Ben Nevis. The guys from Intergas will walk the 1,352 metres up the tallest mountain in Great Britain, along the challenging Mountain Track and down again, while carrying two Intergas boilers, powder coated  a delicate shade of pink by Plastic Coatings Ltd.

Supporting a good cause, in any way that we can, is something that we’re all proud to do. In this case Plastic Coatings Ltd were more than happy to help by powder coating these two boiler cases in the classic pink that is instantly recognisable as support for such a good cause.
