Sales Team Training Update - Ops Team vs Sales Team - Fund Raiser 10km Run
This week, it’s the sales team’s turn and we have been looking forward to it to say the least.
It appears that the ever changing weather has had an adverse effect on Richard C’s training schedule, as he failed to make an appearance this week. We believe that this is due to a fear of the rain ruining his hair or causing his tan to run.
Richard A on the other hand has been training hard, but saw it fit to make sure he started training 12 months before committing to doing a fund raiser run and announcing it to the rest of us. Talk about unfair advantage, but we will let him off as he wouldn’t have had a chance before.
Darren has claimed to have completed the marathon course and found it surprisingly easy, even the uphill section, but unfortunately this was in his car. He has admitted that he has not yet started training as he ‘doesn’t want to peak too early’, so could be the ops team’s Achilles Heel.
Kevin on the other hand, has been reported as being one of the fittest in the bunch….. and he is officially a grandad, twice!
To conclude our update, the ops team’s fifth member has been confirmed as ‘Smurf’. Don’t be fooled by the name, he is far from being small and whilst seeing him run will be a spectacle, he won’t be breaking any records.
